Livermore-Pleasanton Firefighters Foundation Our Story The Livermore-Pleasanton Firefighters Foundation (LPFF) was born out of compassion and community spirit following a life-changing incident on May 1, 2006. On that day, Fire Captain Scott Walsh suffered a career-ending injury while battling a fire at the Pleasanton Transfer Station.
The Honor Guard serves as a ceremonial unit dedicated to honoring tradition, service, and sacrifice. Their primary role includes rendering funeral honors for fallen members, presenting and protecting the national and organizational colors, and representing the union and fire department with professionalism at public events, memorials, and parades.
