Six Figure Salary Considered Low Income for Bay Area Family of Four

The federal government came up with new numbers on what qualifies as low income in the Bay Area. Even if a family brings in a six figure salary - if that family lives in San Francisco, San Mateo or Marin counties - they will still be considered low income, according to the Department of Housing. That means they will be eligible for housing assistance.
LPFD Firefighter Family's Home Destroyed by the Camp Fire

LIVERMORE, CA- Livermore-Pleasanton Firefighter Joe Fields was at work when he got the call.  His wife Stevi’s family home was completely destroyed by the Camp Fire.  In an effort to recoup from this horrific fire, Stevi has created a Go Fund Me to help recuperate after the loss.  Please consider helping if you are in the position.

LIVERMORE, Calif. (KTVU) - Livermore police shot and killed a an armed man who they say was acting bizarrely and whose home lit up into flames while he was barricaded inside. $6,000 Raised at the 2017 Livermore Street Fest
LIVERMORE, CA- The Livermore-Pleasanton Firefighters Foundation (LPFF) raised $6,000 at the 2017 Livermore Downtown Street Fest May 6th, and 7th. PISMO BEACH, Calif. - A man is found dead inside of a Pismo Beach home after flames are seen soaring out from the second floor.
